The Company

Tier 1 Tactical Rentals is built on the notion of helping make military and historically themed films, television series' and video games as accurate and true to real life as possible. Owner Brian Thompson has been producing and directing military themed programming for The History Channel and The Military Channel for over a decade and prides himself on his meticulous attention to detail when it comes to the the equipment and uniforms he frequently supplies for the shoots. This attention to detail comes from Brian's admiration and deep respect for the men and women who serve, not only in the United States Armed Services, but for those who serve in such services throughout the world.

Be it a documentary, feature film, reality TV program, television series or video game, if your project is in need of military or tactical uniforms/equipment, Tier 1 has you covered. We not only supply the uniforms and equipment, but advise as to what would be appropriate for your project in an effort to make it as realistic and historically accurate as possible.

Of course, if you just need some random gear for blowing up aliens and killing zombies, Tier 1 can help you out there as well!

Brian Thompson, Owner

An accomplished producer and director, Brian has had the privilege of working with Veterans (WWII - Iraq/Afghanistan) on dozens of programs for The History Channel and The Military Channel as well as films and video games. He has formed not only working relationships, but friendships with many of them. It is out of respect for these individuals and their colleagues in the Armed Services that Brian takes every effort to ensure that they are being properly portrayed and represented in any project he has a hand in.

Having attended Emerson College in Boston, MA, Brian moved to Los Angeles after graduation where he began his career as a Production Assistant on The History Channel's "Tales of the Gun". He gained valuable experience as a P.A. and moved up the ladder to producing and finally directing. Over the years Brian has amassed a collection of military uniforms and equipment which he rents to production companies and video game developers worldwide. Having started as a hobby collection, the renting of Brian's accumulation of tactical and military uniforms and equipment is now a full time business.
